Living Strong North Idaho Featured in CDA Press

Living Strong North Idaho was recently featured in the Coeur d'Alene Press, highlighting the organization's prevention-focused integrated healthy aging model and its efforts to build a coordinated system connecting healthcare, movement, nutrition, education, and community support across North Idaho.

Ron Rock, co-founder and former CEO of Northwest Specialty Hospital, has joined the Living Strong North Idaho Board of Directors. With decades of experience in healthcare leadership, hospital development, and community health initiatives, Ron brings valuable insight and guidance as the organization continues implementing and expanding its prevention-focused integrated healthy aging model across North Idaho.

Nancy Phillips, Executive Director of Lake City Center, has joined the Living Strong North Idaho Board of Directors. Her extensive experience serving older adults and leading one of North Idaho's most respected senior-focused organizations strengthens the organization's efforts to implement a prevention-focused integrated healthy aging model across the region.

Heather King Named Health Programs Director

Heather King, MSN, FNP, APRN-BC, ABAAHP, has joined Living Strong North Idaho as Health Programs Director. With more than 20 years of healthcare experience and advanced training in functional and preventive medicine, Heather helps guide the organization's prevention-focused integrated healthy aging model while supporting efforts to improve long-term health, independence, and quality of life for older adults.

Research Library Expanded

Living Strong North Idaho has expanded its Research Library to provide easier access to evidence-based information supporting healthy aging and preventive health. The library includes curated research on mobility, nutrition, metabolic health, brain health, longevity, and other topics that support the organization's integrated healthy aging model.
